Beating Overwhelm While Planning Your Dream Wedding

Published almost 2 years ago • 1 min read

Hi there Reader,

Often we all hear stories of brides-to-be getting overwhelmed by their wedding preparations.

  • How many guests should we invite?
  • What colors should we choose?
  • What about floral arrangements?
  • What’s the perfect wedding dress?
  • Which vendor should I hire first?

And of course…

“Why are there so many decisions?! We just want to get married!”

But planning the right wedding for you should be an amazing, exciting time! All it takes is smart preparations and the right information to make wise decisions.

So how can you try and not get overwhelmed, or at least not get overwhelmed by EVERYTHING?

Sit with your spouse-to-be together, decide what’s most important to you both.

What do you want to remember about your special day?

What do you need to create that?

This isn’t the time to try and figure it all yourself (cue the overwhelm).

As a previous Wedding Coordinator, there are vendors who would just love to create the perfect wedding of your dreams and just are waiting for your call. They are there to answer your questions, to be your guide and to walk beside you as you plan your special day.

Take inspiration from Pinterest, Instagram, and magazines but always put your own spin on it. Yes it's hard not to want every square inch of that picture perfect Pinterest wedding, but you can still take elements from these photos, add your unique touches, these things can stand out more than you know. Then you have YOUR picture perfect wedding. And just because it’s trendy right now, it doesn’t mean it’s right for you (or your budget).

And that’s ok!

Talk soon,

Heather

Hey there Reader, The practice of giving and receiving wedding gifts should be about love, but it often it can end up in confusion and some disappointment!
